Workflow consulting

Your team knows how to do the work.
Nobody knows where it went.

We find the exact places work is getting lost, delayed, or stuck in someone's head, then build the systems that fix it. No vague advice. Just documented structure your team can actually use.

If any of these sound familiar

Nobody knows where anything is.
It only works when Sarah's here.
We bought a system. Nobody uses it.
Tasks disappear and I find out when the client complains.
I keep repeating myself to the same people.

The Work Leak Framework

Every workflow breaks in one of seven places

The audit examines all seven areas. Most teams are leaking in three or four simultaneously, and don't know it until someone maps it.

Area 01

Intake

Requests come in through email, text, and phone and nobody owns any of them.

Area 02

Ownership

I thought she was handling it.

Area 03

Tracking

We have a spreadsheet. Nobody updates it consistently.

Area 04

Handoffs

When it moves from one person to another, it disappears.

Area 05

Documentation

It's all in her head. When she's out, everything stops.

Area 06

Files

I know I saved it somewhere.

Area 07

QA & Follow-up

The client usually tells us when something went wrong.

Is this you?

Small service teams that are too busy to keep running things this way

Fieldwork is built for admin-heavy service businesses with 3 to 20 people who have real operational problems and are ready to fix them.

I don't know what everyone's working on until I ask."
We bought ClickUp, Notion, and SharePoint. Nothing changed."
I need SOPs but I don't have time to write them."
Tasks disappear and I find out when the client complains."
My team is great. The system holding them together isn't."
If I left for two weeks, I genuinely don't know what would happen."
We keep dropping client follow-ups and I can't figure out why."
Everything lives in someone's head and that person just gave notice."

Fit check

Fieldwork works best when the fit is real

Strong fit if you…

  • Run a service business with 3 to 20 people
  • Use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace as your core stack
  • Have real, specific workflow problems, not just general inefficiency
  • Are the decision-maker and can move without committee approval
  • Want a documented system your team can maintain independently
  • Are open to changing how the team actually works

Probably not the right fit if you…

  • Need a full-time operations manager or executive
  • Are looking for IT support or software implementation only
  • Are a solo operator with no team-level workflow problems
  • Want strategic business advisory, not operational systems
  • Aren't ready to invest in changing how the team works

The approach

Process first. Tools second. Every time.

I diagnose the workflow before touching any tools. What breaks a process is almost never the software; it's the missing structure underneath it. The tool is the outfit. The workflow is the skeleton.

For implementation, my native expertise is in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, which covers the operational reality of most small service businesses. I can advise on process design regardless of platform.

Every engagement runs on a fixed timeline, a defined scope, and a clear deliverable. No open-ended retainers with strangers, no vague "ongoing support." You know what you're getting before we start.

8 hrs

Hard cap on every audit. Scoped and delivered within a defined window, never open-ended.

2 weeks

From signed contract to full audit delivery. No vague timelines, no chasing for updates.

7 areas

Every engagement covers all seven places workflows commonly break, not just the obvious ones.

Start with a 15-minute consultation. No pitch, no commitment.

We'll talk through what's actually breaking down and whether an audit makes sense. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that too.
